Doug has over 40 years experience in the Landscape Industry. He graduated from WSU with a Degree in Horticulture & Landscape Architecture. Beginning with a large nursery in Wenatchee he worked their Landscape Design / Build Division and then he later started & ran his own company, Alpine Landscapes. In 1987, he moved to the Seattle area and started a career with The Highridge Corporation as a Designer and Project Manager. While with Highridge, he won several Street of Dreams and MAME awards. In 2002, he started Lifestyle Landscapes Construction Division and then ran that Company until 2013. While with Lifestyle, he participated & won awards at the NW Flower and Garden Show, the NW Master Builders Association & WALP. In 2014 Lockwood-Lozier Custom Homes expanded their in house contractors to include Doug as the head of their Landscape Division until its demise in spring of 2020. While with Lockwood he won the Bellevue Lifestyle – 2019 Best of Bellevue – Best Landscaper award.
